REAL ESTATE AGENT HELP –> PROVIDING MANAGED SUPRA E-KEY ACCESS:
To provide one-time access to a property for an appraiser or home inspector, agents typically use the Managed Access (or Single Access) feature within the Supra eKEY app.
What Agents Must Provide
-
A Mobile Invitation: The listing agent must send a direct invitation to the appraiser or inspector's cell phone number through the eKEY app.
-
Designated Access Window: A specific date and time window for the entry (often between 2 and 72 hours).
-
Property Information: The address and any pertinent notes, such as alarm codes or special entry instructions, which are included in the digital invitation.
-
Call Before Showing (CBS) Code (If Applicable): For vendors who already have their own "Affiliate" eKEY but aren't members of the local MLS, the agent may need to provide a unique 7-digit CBS code specific to that lockbox.
Steps to Grant One-Time Access
-
Open the eKEY App: Select My Keyboxes.
-
Select the Property: Tap the specific keybox assigned to the house.
-
Grant Access: Choose Grant Managed Access.
-
Enter Contact Details: Type in the appraiser’s or inspector’s cell phone number.
-
Schedule Time: Select the agreed-upon access day and time window.
-
Send: Tap Send. The recipient will receive a text message with instructions to download the app and a link to their one-time authorization code.
What the Appraiser/Inspector Must Do
-
Register: They must follow the link in the text to register their information and download the Supra eKEY app if they don't already have it.
-
Use a PIN: They will be prompted to create a 4-digit PIN to use when opening the lockbox during their scheduled time.
-
Pay Fee (Location Dependent): Some associations charge a small administrative fee (e.g., $3–$10) to the individual seeking access.
